The Country’s Finest Craft Beer Breweries Converge At Greenfield District
Top real estate developer Greenfield Development Corporation, in tandem with the Craft Beer Association of the Philippines, held the first ever MNL Craft Beer Festival 2017 at the Central Park of Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City last December 2, 2017.
MNL Craft Beer Festival is the biggest gathering of local craft breweries in the country, with over 32 breweries and affiliates coming together to celebrate artisan craft beers and celebrate their brews on a common stage. These breweries came from different parts of the country. Among them were Brewery at the Palace, 63 North Brewing Co., Kapitolyo Brewing Co., Blackwhite Craft Brewery (the first and only craft beer in Batangas), Laughing Carabao Brewery (the first craft beer manufacturer in Tarlac) and many more.
“The Philippine craft beer culture has truly blossomed from the homegrown brews created by breweries and microbreweries around the country. The event aims to bring them together to be enjoyed by enthusiasts who want to try something new,” said Greenfield executive vice president and general manager Atty. Duane A.X. Santos.
Philippine craft beers are known for their own distinct tastes and characters, from those with fruity notes, hints of specialty spices, to the bold flavours of ale.
The MNL Craft Beer Festival is deemed as the grandest and biggest gathering of the finest breweries in the country. The event coincides with Greenfield District’s Jazz Fest Thursdays which transforms the Central Park into an outdoor jazz lounge in a park setting, the Kaleidoscope, a vibrantly colorful Friday night market, and the Greenfield Weekend Market which presents and highlights the latest food trends, with live performances from various artists.
The 15-hectare masterplanned township Greenfield District is located at burgeoning Mandaluyong City.
