Face Republic Super Screen Sun Gel SPF 50+ Review

One of the first and more important things you need to do is protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun, that is why we need to use sunscreen daily.  Sunscreen protects your skin from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays, which come in two forms – UVA and UVB rays.

UVA rays are most commonly associated with skin aging; these beams cause fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots that make skin look prematurely older. UVA rays have the ability to pass through glass, meaning your skin is exposed to them while you are driving and standing or sitting in front of windows with the blinds open. UVB rays are the ones most commonly associated with sunburns. Unlike UVA rays, UVB beams cannot pass through glass.

Both UVA and UVB rays are carcinogens (cancer-causing), which is why you should invest in a sunscreen that offers broad-spectrum protection against both types. Even if you have darker skin or tan rather than burn, skin cancer is non-discriminatory and can be diagnosed for any age, gender, or skin type.

I’ve been using this Face Republic Super Screen Sun Gel SPF 50 that I got from Charis Shop for a week now. I’ve also reviewed ILLIYOON Fresh Moisture Lip & Eye Remover and Easy Peasy Coloring Stick that I got from Charis.

Face Republic Super Screen Sun Gel shields skin from aging and damaging rays of the sun with SPF50+ PA+++; effectively blocks both UVA and UVB for broad-spectrum protection; lightweight gel formula is quickly absorbed by skin for a fresh feel; nourishes and hydrates to provide a cooling effect with anti-bacterial eucalyptus leaf extract.

How to use:

  • Gently apply a generous amount onto clean face and neck.
  • Can be used under makeup.
  • Reapply as needed.

This sunscreen is the best because aside from it protects me from the sun, it also moisturizes my face and give me an instant glow. I love how it easily sets on the skin and doesn’t take too long to dry. It can be sticky at first but it has a cooling effect on your face and I love the fact that it can also be a sunblock. Another thing I like about this is the added fragrance (citrus scent). This is by far the best sunscreen I have used.
