Last February 9, 2018, Greenwhich turned a park in Makati into a charming and vibrant district to its won where Filipino pizza-lovers like me experienced the sight, smell, sound and taste of the very best by Greenwich, in honor of the worldwide event.
The Dolphin Park at Glorietta 4, Makati City transformed into an exciting pizza village where food lovers explored all that the Overload Pizza District has to offer. The fun started at 5pm, where everyone can walk down Lasagna Lane and relax while enjoying Greenwich’s signature Lasagna Supreme, and other pasta favorites.
There is also IG-worthy Hawaiian Combi Corner, a tropical photo wall made for the perfect group-fie with your friends and family, a strut into the Pizza Parlor and witnessed our favorite Greenwich Hawaiian and Ultimate Overload pizzas made by hand; a stroll down Sidekick Street and feast on tasty sidekicks such as Potato Waves, Wacky Wing and other favorites.
Aside from having all our Greenwich favorites, the Overload Pizza District also showcases the Main Plaza in the center, featuring performances from local acts such as Hale, Mayonnaise, and the Silent Sanctuary. Guest also participated in different contests such as the Pizza Eating Contest, the Box Overload Challenges, and the Hawaiian Hula Dance Off.
Resident Greewich kabarkada Robi Domingo also introduced his new Greenwich friends – Ella Cruz, Julian Trono, JC Santos and Bella Padilla. Yassi Pressman were unable to attend the event due to conflict in schedule.
It’s definitely an affair to remember, overloaded with the best-tasting pizzas, great sounds, and unforgettable barkada moments. The perfect way to celebrate World Pizza Day.
