Bass Moment, Best Moment With realme Buds T300

Wireless earbuds offer numerous advantages in today’s modern world, providing users with a seamless and convenient audio experience. It revolutionized the way we listen to music and interact with our devices.

As a virtual assistant and content creator, using wireless earbuds really helps me when it comes to my work, lifestyle, and making my content. It allows me to move around without being tethered to my devices. It is also very convenient for me when I am exercising while listening to music or watching movies. I also use it when making personal calls or whenever I have a meeting. But with a lot of wireless buds on the market, it’s hard to choose which one is perfect for you without breaking the bank.

Good thing, realme recently launched their new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) buds called the realme Buds T300 on November 9, 2023.

What’s inside the box

When you purchase the realme Buds T300, it will come in a yellow box. It includes the user guide, Type-C charging cable, 3 silicone earbud tips (not in the photo), and the realme Buds T300.

Design

The realme Buds T300 that I received is the Youth White variant, but they have another color you can choose, which is the Stylish Black variant. It comes in a well-built case that has a glossy and smooth texture and has the realme branding on the front. The USB-C charging port is located at the bottom, and there is a small LED between them. It just looks like a typical wireless earbuds.

The charging case opens to up to 110°, and each earbud only weighs 4.1 grams, with the charging case weighing 32.5 grams. The buds fit in well inside and would not slip off easily. It is good that it is lightweight, so I can carry it anywhere I go and it can fit firmly in my ear canal.

The realme Buds T300 has IP55 dust and water resistance, so I don’t need to worry about dirt, rain, and sweat especially while I am exercising.

Bluetooth v5.3 and Connectivity

realme Buds T300 packs with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and supports supported audio codes: AAC and SBC. A 50-ms low-latency connection to a Bluetooth source is more stable and faster than the previous generation. If you want to attain full 50-ms latency, switch to Gaming Mode for a really seamless experience.

Noise Cancellation, Call Performance and Transparent Mode

Noise cancellation is very important to me when it comes to wireless earbuds, especially when I’m in a meeting. Good thing, the Realme Buds T300 does have active noise cancellation (ANC) of 30 dB. The device detects unwanted external background noise by emitting opposite waves and allows for a more immersed surround sound experience in one’s ears. It also comes with two built-in microphones. With this feature, I don’t need to worry even if I’m in a busy environment because I won’t be distracted by the noise around me and my voice will be clearly heard.

There’s transparency mode, too. Just tap and hold on either side of the touch area, which disables the noise-cancelling feature and allows you to hear the surrounding noise.

Sounds

When it comes to audio quality, the realme Buds T300 did not disappoint. The buds are high on the bass and really loud.

The realme Buds T300 comes with a 12.4mm dynamic bass driver that offers 24%, allowing the earphones to produce a fuller, more immersive sound. As a result, you get to hear deeper bass and clearer vocals that boost one’s audio experience.

It also features a titanium diaphragm, an HTW wire coil, an N52 magnet and supports Dolby Atmos. It also offers a 360° spatial audio effect that is capable of intelligently rendering a 360° surround sound experience for its user for a more prominent audio experience.

Battery Life and Charging

Long battery life is also one of the important features of wireless buds that I am looking for, and the realme Buds T300 disappoints me because it comes with 43 mAh per earbud and 460 mAh for the charging case, for a total of 40 hours of playback time if the volume is set to 50% with ANC turned off.

With the  Type-C port fast charging, the buds offer up to 7 hours of playtime with just a 10-minute charge. Not bad, right?

Touch Controls

The realme Buds T300 has intelligent touch controls and certain gestures that allow certain functions to take place. If you want to play, pause music, answer, or hang up calls, just double tap the buds. Triple-tap if you want the music to play the next track. Press and hold one earbud for two seconds for noise control mode and transparency mode, or toggle or decline calls, and press and hold both earbuds for four seconds for pairing mode.

App

The realme Buds T300 is compatible with the realme app, so you can monitor the device’s battery status, gesture controls, equalizer modes, and more in real time.

Price and Final Verdict

For the price of PHP 1,599 SRP, T300 actually delivers more than what it promises. So, if you are looking for an affordable wireless buds that does its job well, then the realme Buds T300 is perfect for you.
