LG brought technology and artistry together as it showcased its latest generation of AI-powered televisions at the LG OLED TV Media Launch, held on October 30, 2026, at Ayala Museum in Makati.
Under the theme “A Canvas of Possibilities,” the event transformed the museum setting into an immersive showcase of home entertainment, inviting media and guests to explore how LG’s advanced picture quality and intelligent personalization could make everything from watching movies and playing games to appreciating digital art a richer experience.
At the center of the launch were three of LG’s latest television innovations: the LG OLED evo AI, LG Micro RGB evo AI, and LG QNED evo AI. Through thoughtfully curated exhibits, guests were able to experience the different technologies and features designed to bring exceptional picture quality and more personalized entertainment into the home.
These innovations build on LG’s broader 2026 AI TV lineup, which the company showcased at IFA 2026 in Berlin, Germany. Among the highlights was the α11 AI Processor Gen3, first applied to the LG OLED evo series and extended to ultra-large Micro RGB evo TVs, enabling advanced features such as AI Dual 4K Upscaling for sharper images and AI Sound Pro for more immersive audio. LG also highlighted intelligent personalization features, including Voice ID for tailored content recommendations and AI Concierge for more intuitive content discovery, alongside LG Shield, its integrated security system designed to help protect user information and privacy.
“Entertainment has a special way of bringing people together, inspiring emotions, and creating memories. With our latest TV innovations, we want to make those experiences even more meaningful. Whether it’s enjoying a favorite film, getting immersed in a game, or discovering a beautiful piece of art, we want people to experience every moment in the best possible way,” said Yongwoo Park, Media Solutions Product Director, LG Electronics Philippines.
Bringing cinema-quality experiences closer to home
One of the event’s key highlights was the True Cinema showcase, which featured the LG OLED evo AI, LG Micro RGB evo AI, and LG QNED evo AI televisions, each demonstrating a different dimension of premium picture quality.
The LG OLED evo AI took guests through an immersive viewing experience, highlighting the picture quality and technologies that make LG OLED a centerpiece of home entertainment.
Meanwhile, the LG Micro RGB evo AI showcased its Triple Crown 100% Color Coverage, bringing vibrant, true-to-life visuals to the screen. The LG QNED evo AI demonstrated exceptional contrast, vivid colors, and seamless motion, offering another perspective on how advanced display technology can enhance everyday viewing.
Together, the exhibits demonstrated how LG’s television technologies can transform the way audiences experience their favorite stories, from cinematic moments to everyday entertainment.
Beyond movies: A new canvas for gaming and digital art
The experience extended beyond traditional television viewing with interactive spaces dedicated to gaming and digital art.
At the Ultimate Gaming zone, guests explored the ultra-smooth gameplay experience powered by LG OLED evo AI technology. Designed as a gamer-inspired lounge, the area highlighted how LG’s display innovations could bring greater immersion to interactive entertainment.
The Digital Art showcase, meanwhile, demonstrated how televisions could become canvases for artistic expression. Featuring LG OLED evo AI, LG QNED evo AI, and LG Micro RGB evo AI displays, the exhibit introduced guests to luminous digital artworks and the possibilities offered by LG Gallery+.
By presenting its televisions in a museum-inspired environment, LG demonstrated how premium displays could complement different interests, lifestyles, and forms of creative expression.
“What makes today’s television experience exciting is how picture quality and intelligent technology can work together to make entertainment feel more personal. Through this launch, we wanted guests to see these innovations for themselves and imagine how they could bring the same experiences into their own homes,” said Yongwoo Park, Media Solutions Product Director, LG Electronics Philippines.
The event also featured a brand presentation and product demonstrations highlighting LG’s latest OLED innovations and key television features, giving guests a closer look at the technologies behind the viewing experience.
With “A Canvas of Possibilities,” LG brought its approach to premium home entertainment into focus: combining advanced display technology, intelligent personalization, and immersive experiences to turn everyday viewing moments into something memorable.
