On October 27, 2023, the shoppers were serenaded by National University Coral with Christmas carols, and there was also a musical performance from Team Lizzie as SM East Ortigas launched their lighting ceremony and started the Christmas festivity.
The event was graced by Pasig City Vice Mayor Robert Vincent Jude B. Jaworski Jr. and Maureen Fernandez, the Mall Manager of SM City East Ortigas. Also present at the event were John Brian Tarnate, AVP for Operations SM Supermalls and Kagawad Girlie Cruz of Barangay Sta. Lucia.
