I’ve been excited for this year’s summer because the first four months of the year 2019 was really busy for us. Since my daughter just graduated from Kindergarten with honors and to relax as well, I guess the best way to celebrate is to have a staycation at a resort. We had a chance to do it last April 15, 2019.

There are several resorts you can find at Rizal that offer hotel accommodations, outdoor swimming pools and amazing amenities and deals and one of them is Bosay Resort. Bosay Resort is located at Marigman Rd. Brgy. San Roque. It is near Galang Compound, Antipolo City, Antipolo, Philippines. This three hectare resort is only an hour away from Manila and tricycle away from the famous Antipolo Church.

Bosay Resort originated from a waray term “Bosay” meaning waterfalls. A swimming pool, just like any waterfall chills the body which enables an individual to loosen up uncertainties for a while. Anyone can fully enjoy swimming at Bosay Resort since it is built with one of a kind landscape setting with nature and the living trees carry out fresh air as you breathe.

How to get there

From Manila the fastest way is to ride LRT 2 then alight at Santolan Station, ride jeep going to Antipolo Church alight there then Ride tricycle going to Bosay Resort.

The Fees

Entrance fees are affordable at Bosay Resort. For only 180 pesos each for a day swim (from 7am – 5pm) for adults, 200 pesos per head for a night swim (from 7pm – 5am) for adults, and 150 pesos each for 4ft below kids whether night or day, everyone can already have fun at every part of the resort.

And then depending on the number of occupants, cottages are also available ranging from 600 to 3,000 pesos, pavilions from 10,000 to 12,000 pesos, and even houses from 2,500 to 3,000 pesos.

For those who want to stay overnight like us and have one of the most relaxing times, they have a hotel inside the resort vicinity with rooms ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 pesos. The hotel is located just at the front of the resort and it has a nice wooden facade.

Swimming Pools

They have a lot of swimming pools you can choose from at Bosay Resort  including Turtle Pool, Pool with Slide, Private Pool with Jacuzzi, Disco Pool, Kiddie Pool, Kiddie Pool with Bubbles, Therapy Pool, Infinity Pool, Olympic Pool and Stormwave Pool.

Bosay Hotel

Upon our arrival at Bosay Resort around 11am, one of the staff assisted as to the Hotel and offered us a drink. After how many minutes, we tour the resorts and checked their pools. She event spent time to explain details about the resort and its facilities and answer my questions.

After our tour, she assisted us to our room for us to rest for awhile while they are preparing our lunch.

I really love their hotel hallway.

Our air conditioned room was really spacious with 2 mattresses with rattan bed frames. It is also complete with towels, toiletries, complimentary coffee, bottled water, a personal fridge, and a clean bathroom. Their bathroom has a hot and cold shower which I like because the water is cold. They also have a bidet on the toilet.

Food

Our stay includes lunch, meryenda and dinner.

Their food they served to us is just simple but delicious. They don’t have a menu where you can choose what food you like to order. They usually served what is available in their kitchen.

Overall Experience

To be honest, it was not my first time to visit Bosay Resort. I’ve been there four or five years ago for a night swimming.  When I got back this year, I realized that Bosay Resort improved a lot. Their hotel is really one of my favorite part because it looks classy. Their staff are really friendly and approachable. The only problem was that we can’t watch TV during our free time because their cable connection is not working. Overall, our stay at Bosay Resort was very satisfactory, especially because I got to spend quality time with family and my daughter really enjoyed swimming at their Stormwave Pool.
